Part of what makes Pivot great are all the opportunities in our programming for students to take control of their own education. In our spirit to empower students to find their passions and forge their future paths tuition-free, Pivot has strengthened partnerships with our local community colleges so that students have access to a wider variety of courses and opportunities that they can bring with them after they graduate..

Pivot is also thrilled to announce the implementation of the State Seal of Biliteracy and the Golden State Seal Merit Diploma(GSSMD) to all Pivot Charter Schools as well as ongoing efforts for Pivot campuses to administer and receive scores for AP, PSAT/NMSQT, SAT, and ACT examinations.

Work Experience & Internship
College Credit Program

Pivot students interested in obtaining college level credit for on-the-job learning can enroll in the Cooperative Work Experience Education Program also known as Work Experience or an internship. If the student is working in a field that is related to his/her major, the student should enroll in Career Work Experience. For those who are working in a field that is not related to their major, they will want to enroll in General Work Experience.

If a Pivot student is interested in this program but does not yet have a job, a Butte College Job Developer can help you find a position that is right for you.

Eligibility: Any Pivot High School student who is 16 years of age or older who works or is looking for work/internship experience can sign up.
